Workshops

Children aged eight to ten are introduced to the multifaceted world of animals in a playful way in our workshops. With experiments, handicrafts and lots of time in the animal enclosures, the children experience the zoo from a completely different perspective from 9 am to 4 pm. Holiday programmes

Children aged eight to ten can look forward to an expedition to the zoo during the Whitsun and summer holidays. As part of the programme, they will get to know a wide variety of animal species, their special features, their habitats and the background to the threats they face.

The programmes are filled with lots of sensory experiences, play and craft sessions as well as exciting adventures involving the zoo’s animals. The programme starts daily at 9 am and ends at 4 pm. Lunch is included in the price each day. The cost is 180 euros for the Whitsun holiday programme (four days) and 225 euros for each week of the summer holiday programme (five days each).
